How To Measure Storm Doors When ordering, be certain to specify the type of mount you plan to use. |

For Western Mount width, measure the distance between points A and B. The unit will be secured to the outside of the blind stop. Measure right to the end. The manufacturer will deduct 1/4 inch to allow 1/8 inch play on each side. For this reason, you should make certain your rabbet is at least 1 inch wide. |

| For Eastern Mount width, you still measure between points A and B, but the frame will be mounted at points C and D. When you specify Eastern Mount, the manufacturer will add 1 3/4 inches to allow mounting to the Brick Mold frame. | |
| For Western Mount height, measure the distance between points E and F. The unit will be secured to the outside of the rabbet on top. |  |
| For Eastern Mount height, you still measure the distance between points E and F, but the top of the unit is secured at point G | |
